Professional Boundaries

This course is aimed at staff and volunteers who arrange for volunteers to act as befrienders or mentors to a wide range of people in the wider community.

Course content
Professional boundaries can be blurred in some cases, such as when befrienders move to being best friends, which can create dependency relationships rather than friendly support. Volunteers may also talk about their clients in inappropriate settings. This course aims to outline how volunteers should behave in order to be good ambassadors for the organisation and also be good befrienders.

What does it cost?
​An interactive workshop that is 2.5 hours delivered at your venue. There is a special price for registered charities of £40.00 per person per subject.
