HR for Non-HR Managers
The day will be engaging and fully participative with a mixture of managerial experience combined with the latest ACAS best practice. Underlying this agenda I will share hard won lessons on how best to work with an HR professionals.
We will cover the essential steps in the life cycle of employing a person. Through discussion and real examples we will explore the preparation needed prior to recruitment of staff, the process of recruitment and induction, managing performance and behaviour including absence and finally the ending of staff contracts.

The training is aimed at any manager with staff reporting to them. It is particularly useful for senior and middle managers and Directors and will act as a refresher for the more experienced and an introduction to those new to managing staff.
